Plum Happy

This is the second brush painting I have done of fruit. This one is going to be hung in my kitchen near the pomegranate I posted earlier. I still have one or two more paintings and then my kitchen will be redecorated.

The character symbolizes spring.

Cheers!

Thinking of summer

Like most people who enjoy creative work I get inspiration from a variety of sources. Recently I was flipping through an art book and saw a scene with tomatoes. Since I didn’t have a lot of time (that seems to be my mantra of late) to paint I picked up my colored pencils instead.

This was very relaxing to do considering the overly hectic week I had been having. And, it has inspired me to get serious about my summer garden.

Cheers!

Inky Tulips

Today’s sketch was done entirely with my Pitt Ink Pens. I love all the color that has been springing up and have tried to capture some of that spirit here.

Cheers!
